Mineral Wells Index, Mineral Wells, TX

After receiving a Facebook message about a scrapbook concerning Old Fort Wolters during WWII, Boyce Ditto Public Library Director Palin Bree was anxious to see what would happen. Shirley Sanders of Michigan, the messenger, told Bree about the contents and said she would send it right away. During this time, Bree was also notified that The Portal to Texas History folks would be coming to Mineral Wells the same week as the scrapbook. Pictured is TPTTH Project Development Librarian Tara Carlisle, Bree and TPTTH Digital Newspaper Coordinator Ana Krahmer opening the package for the first time.
