Grasshoppers line up to munch on the non-bearing Mulberry trees in front of Patricia and Bobby Shewmake's Salesville home. They have stripped all the leaves off her rose bushes, plants in her flowerbed and off the two large mulberries. Now the insects are working on the trees' bark. Shewmake, said in the 36 years she has lived there she has never seen so many grasshoppers as currently live in her yard. They are not only on the trees but also on her front porch, her grass – of course – and all over her brick house; but they don't seem to be as plentiful at her neighbors. Shewmake expects this congregation to end today shortly after the exterminator arrives.
