Personally from Perrin

Cold arrives right on time for stock show

(Continued)

Just heard that Ina Jo Lee has been having some problems with diverticulitis and is in the Weatherford hospital. Our best to her and hope she’ll soon be home, without having to have surgery.

I’m still having trouble walking and have fallen several times. Like everyone else, I’ve got some congestion going on, too. Hope to go to the doctor later this week, if the weather doesn’t prevent it.

There is a Project Graduation meeting for the Perrin seniors on Monday at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

There will be a Perrin Junior High Basketball tournament next week beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, in the Perrin High School gym.

The January Angel Food box order menu is posted at several of the businesses in town. You may order online at the Angel Food Ministries Web site or mail your order indicating which boxes you wish. Make the check out to the Perrin Church of Christ and mail it to 228 Rick Road, Perrin, TX 76486. For further information, contact Fred Mealio at (940) 798-4455. The January order is due Sunday, Jan. 10, with delivery on Saturday, Jan. 23.

If you have any news either about your family or any other community happenings, give me a call at 798-2235.
