Houston Elementary teachers recognize a student each month that exhibits the six pillars of character by displaying honesty, respect, caring, trustworthiness, fairness, and responsibility. They are honored on the morning announcements, invited to receive a special principal's treat, and have a picture displayed on the Good Citizen bulletin board.
