JUNIOR ACHIEVERS

— The Mineral Wells Index and Mineral Wells Junior High will highlight a student on Fridays during the school year for his or her accomplishments both in and out of the classroom. This week's featured student Kenny Gillespie:
Name: Kenny Gillespie
Grade: 8th
Favorite class: Language Arts.
Favorite hobbies and activities: My favorite hobby and activities would be playing basketball.
Last book read: “Diary of Anne Frank.”
Favorite movie: “Superbad.”
Favorite musical artist: Brad Parsley.
Person I look up to and why: I look up to my Mom and Dad because they taught me everything I know and they do everything for me.
Where would you like to travel to and why? I would like to travel to Paris, France, because I've always wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower.
How do you to expect high school to be different from junior high? The work will be harder and more challenging.
What do you want to do once you are out of high school? I want to go to college to make it possible for me to set up my life for the future.
