— The Mineral Wells Index and Mineral Wells Junior High highlight a student on Fridays during the school year for his or her accomplishments both in and out of the classroom. This week's featured student is Idrys Ferguson:

Name: Idrys Ferguson
Grade: 8th
Favorite class: My favorite class is Band.
Favorite hobbies and activities: My favorite hobbies and things to do are reading, eating, playing trumpet, sleeping and hanging out with friends.
Last book read: “Pride and Prejudice.”
Favorite movie: “Fox and the Hound.”
Favorite musical artist: Alternative.
Person I look up to and why: I look up to my Dad. He is a “cool kid.”
Where would you like to travel to and why? I would like to go to Rome and see the statues and cathedrals.
How do you expect high school to be different from junior high? High school will be much harder, but a lot more fun.
What do you want to do once you are out of high school? I want to go to college and get a cool job like a musician, designer or photographer.
