Three Mineral Wells Junior High students who expressed an interest in advertising were recently given an opportunity to create their own promotional campaigns for local businesses.
The Index’s advertising department supported the endeavor and rewarded participants with a gift card. Their school also offered incentives including extra credit and Ram bucks.
Merchants included in the project used the seventh-graders’ designs in actual advertisements.
Caden Snow, created ads for Cityview Community Church and Suddenlink; Carlos Gray produced designs for Palo Pinto General Hospital and Four Seasons Dental; and Brittney Kite completed a project for Brazos Animal Hospital.
