Several SkillsUSA Computer-Aided Design Chapter members competed last week in the Texas State Skills and Leadership Contest in Corpus Christi, and two brought home bronze medals – a first for Mineral Wells High School.
Area teachers honored by Weatherford College
Dori Taylor, an English and World Geography teacher at Jacksboro High School, and Jennifer Spelios, an English-Language Arts teacher at Perrin Elementary School were among 34 teachers from across the region honored by Weatherford College at the 2012-13 Jack Harvey Academy of Exemplary Teachers celebration at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center, in Weatherford.
