Graford ISD to hold bond election Nov. 5
GRAFORD – At the last Graford ISD board of trustees meeting, trustees approved a bond election which will be held in November for a $7.5 million bond that will include costs of new buildings, the expansion/renovation of other buildings and the cost of building an athletic complex that will feature new baseball and softball fields, a track and new locker rooms.
CCS SENIORS 2014
Community Christian School is proud to recognize their Senior Class. This is the seventh class of seniors since CCS re-opened their high school. These four graduates will bring the total to 19. The Junior class at CCS this year includes 11 students who graduate in 2015.
Lamar Elementary posts schedule
For parents of Mineral Wells ISD’s very youngest students, there are some key dates and times to mark on the calendar to help prepare kids for their first days of school. They are:
Lamar’s prekindergarten and kindergarten registration days
Lamar Elementary School registration takes place as follows: prekindergarten only, on Aug. 8, 9 a.m.-noon and 2-7 p.m. at the Lamar Elementary Cafeteria, 2012 S.E. 12th St.
New MWISD drug-testing policy requires orientation
A new drug testing policy, approved last spring by the Mineral Wells ISD school board, will kick in for the first time beginning with the 2013-14 school year.
