Engagement - McGowan-Allen

— Christopher Michael Allen and Jeana Marie McGowan of Alexandria, Va., are pleased to announce their engagement.
The couple will marry July 19, 2008, at Clark Gardens in Mineral Wells with a reception following at Holiday Hills Country Club.
Jeana is the daughter of John McGowan of Perry, Fla., and Susan McGowan of Warrenville, S.C., and granddaughter of Richard and Oleita McGowan of Perry, Fla., and the late Harold and Violet Thomas of Findlay, Ohio.
Chris is the son of Mike and Sharon Allen of Mineral Wells and the grandson of Eugene and Margaret Allen of Rotan, Texas, and the late Bill and IdaBelle Hawkins of Tulia, Texas.
Jeana graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She is currently employed by the Washington, D.C., Public School District.
Chris graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science, and from the George Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University with a Master of Public Service and Administration degree. He is currently working in the Public Affairs office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C.
