50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Davis

Ken and Pearla Chastain Davis celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary with a vacation to New York City with their son, David, his wife, Edie, and their grandchildren, Jennifer, Kenny and Jillian, of Tyler, Texas, and their son, Daniel, his wife, Mignon, and their granddaughter, Anastasia, of Houston.

On their anniversary, June 22, they celebrated by attending the musical, “Mamma Mia,” and were honored with a dinner at the Tavern on the Green in Central Park.

The Davises were married June 22, 1958, at First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, where they are still members.

Ken is retired, but substitute teaches in the local school system.

Pearla retired as pastor/financial secretary at First Baptist Church.

The Davises have another granddaughter, Jessica, and great-grandsons, Matthew, Noah, Joshua and Jonah, of Tyler.
