The Mineral Wells Woman’s Club met Sept. 5 at the Woman’s Club Building for its first fall meeting.
President Sharon Owens greeted the members and guests then had a business meeting before lunch, which was provided by the members. Members were able to view the various quilts brought by presenters or by members before the program.
After the meal, President Owens introduced the program. Judy Caldwell, Eric Olson and Betty Kidwell told the audience about their experiences with quilting. Each displayed some of the quilts that they made. Betty showed some of her quilts that have received blue ribbons at local craft shows. Judy told how she began later in life but has really enjoyed quilting.
