Police Beat

Burglaries

• 100 block of Farm-to-Market Road 1821 North – A hotel room was reported burglarized Sunday morning with a laptop, speaker system, wireless mouse, passport, I-pod and a bottle of Xanax was reported stolen. The items were valued at $1,915 total.

• 100 block of S.W. 17th Street – A 2000 Nissan four-door car was reported burglarized Friday night with a rock used to break a rear passenger window. Two purses valued at $100 each were reported stolen.

Arrests

The Mineral Wells Police Department reported making the following arrests:

• Angelica Joyce Ahern, 19, of Strawn, was arrested Thursday for driving without a license.

• Ashley Nicole Ewing, 23, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday on an Erath County warrant for theft by check.

• Nelson F. Flores, 24, of Houston, was arrested Sunday for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

• Marcus Anthony Galvan, 21, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Thursday for evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.

• Leonardo Lopez, 57, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Saturday for no driver’s license, no insurance and open container.

• Thomas Boston Masey, 24, of Weatherford, was arrested Friday on five MWPD traffic warrants.

• Matt Dillon McBride, 20, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Thursday on seven MWPD traffic warrants.

• Ty Joshua Monk, 27, of Leander, was arrested Thursday on a Parker County warrant and a parole violation warrant.

• Daniel Lee Ortiz, 19, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Sunday on a motion to revoke warrant from the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office for possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram.

• Adrian Gonzales Rivera, 17, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Sunday for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug-free zone.

• Michael Bradley Scott, 22, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Sunday on a MWPD warrant for minor in possession of alcohol, a MWPD warrant for minor in consumption of alcohol and no driver’s license.

• Matthew Dillon Tincher, 22, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Saturday on a MWPD traffic warrant.
