Chamber offers sneak preview of new ‘friendly’ program

The Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce kicks off its Business Brown Bag Series by introducing a program that is important for business owners, managers and employees - its new “Texas Friendly Hospitality Program.”

Business and organization representatives may come to the chamber community room at noon on Friday, June 27, to get a one-hour sneak preview of this seminar that will be offered throughout the year.

Texas Friendly Hospitality is a program from the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, and the certified local facilitator is chamber business manager Ninfa Holly.

During the full training, attendees will learn techniques for internal and external customer service and will walk away with the motivation to add pride and professionalism to their workplaces.

The Business Brown Bag Series is the monthly education series organized by the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce.

Each month a different business topic is addressed—from publicity and marketing to finances and organizational skills. Attendees brown-bag their lunch, and are encouraged to use chamber member restaurants. Business Brown Bag Series replaces the morning Coffee with the Chamber as the chamber’s monthly educational forum.
