Political forum Thursday

A Palo Pinto County political forum, sponsored by the Palo Pinto County Farm Bureau and hosted by the Mineral Wells Senior Center, is slated this Thursday at the Senior Center, 100 N.W. 6th Ave.

The center will have a $5 barbecue sandwich dinner available at 6 p.m., and the forum will begin at 7 p.m.

Precinct 1 County Commissioner, Democrat Beth Ray and Republican Bob Manskey, and Precinct 5 County Constable, Democrat Luis Rodriguez and Republican Gary Morris.

Other county, state or national candidates for public office who are present will be recognized.

Citizens may submit questions for the candidates (in required form) at the Farm Bureau office at 301 S.E. 3rd St. in Mineral Wells through 4 p.m. Wednesday, or at the Senior Center between 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Thursday night. The forum moderator will select questions randomly - all questions may not be asked depending on time constraints.
