MILLSAP – Millsap ISD trustees heard that ACT scores for the Millsap High School Class of 2012 outpaced state and national averages.
On Monday, trustees learned that last year’s Millsap grads performed “above the state and national averages” in all areas, according to Superintendent David Belding.
One of two college entrance exams, the ACT Corporation recently released the average scores on the ACT test for the nation’s graduating classes of 2012, including overall results and scores on subtests.
The average composite score for 2012 Millsap grads was 21.8 – a full point higher than the state average of 20.8 and 0.7 points higher than the national average of 21.1 points.
