Sponsors lining up for this year’s Taste of Palo Pinto Co.

A Taste of Palo Pinto County is the Mineral Wells Senior Center’s largest annual fundraiser, with the proceeds counted on heavily to help fund the center’s programs throughout the year. 

This year’s A Taste of Palo Pinto County falls on Monday evening, July 14, at Holiday Hill Country Club.

Sponsoring the event at a five-star level are Backforty Bunkhouse Productions, Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, Diamond Pharmacy, First Financial Bank, Serenity Estates and Upham Oil & Gas.

Titan Bank, Link Field Services, Progressive Waste Solutions, Alpine Construction, Mineral Wells Index and Friends of the Senior Center are our four-star sponsors.

D&D Motors, Four Seasons Dental, KEG 1 O’Neal, LLC North Texas, MW Noon Lions Club, State Farm-April Martin, State Farm-Phil Luker,  Palo Pinto Thrift & Gift Shop and Ted’s Cabinet Shop are joining in at the three-star level. 

Two-star sponsorship commitments have come in to date from Brazos Animal Hospital, Freeze Carpets, Todd Hamilton, Oneta Magee, 2R Ranch Trading Post, Palo Pinto Nursing and Rehab and IntegraCare Home Health. 

“Our staff and board of directors are grateful to all these folks for their support,” said interim center director Linda Gilley.

The food at this year’s Taste of Palo Pinto County promises to be outstanding, Gilley said. The vendors who have to date pledged their participation for this year’s event are Chili’s, Golden Chick, Holiday Hills Country Club, SAI Ramana Foods (Knights Inn), Mesquite Pit, Natty Flat Smokehouse, Pulido’s Mexican Restaurant, Todd’s Sauce, The Cellar, Taco Bell, Taste and See Bakery Treats, Tastefully Simple, Shotguns, Jin’s Express, Hog Pit and Palo Pinto Challenge.

“We give our thanks to these great food providers for their support,” Gilley said.

Tickets are $50 for reserved seating, $35 for general admission, and can be purchased at the senior center, 102 N.W. 6th Ave., or at the door. For more information on purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor or a vendor, call the center at 940-325-6470.
