Woman assaulted by unknown attacker

By CLINT FOSTER

A Mineral Wells woman is searching for answers after she was attacked by an unknown woman on her doorstep.

Mineral Wells Police rolled on an assault in the 1700 block of SE 15th St. at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday night. According to the victim’s story, her kids answered a knock at their front door and the person asked for the woman of the house. The victim then went to the front door and saw a short, heavy set, white woman wearing a blue plaid shirt with a black lip piercing and blonde spiked hair with dark roots.

The victim said the woman’s hair reminded her of restaurateur and television personality Guy Fieri.

The so-called look-alike of the popular food critic then proceeded to punch the victim in the face twice, busting her lip. The unknown attacker then ran away by another heavy, white woman with short curly hair.

Police have no leads regarding the identities of either suspect.

The victim told the Index she had never seen either of these women in her life, nor does she have any criminal contacts. She said she lives in a decent suburban neighborhood where the biggest issues residents have ever dealt with are barking dogs.

Any readers with information regarding this case are encouraged to call Palo Pinto County Crimestoppers at (940)-325-0000.
