Four-time deportee arrested for burglarizing home, sexually assaulting child

SPRINGTOWN — SPRINGTOWN – Parker County sheriff’s investigators say they arrested a man – deported from the U.S. four times previously –  Saturday after he broke into a Springtown-area home where a 9-year-old girl and her family were sleeping and molested the girl.

Deputies responded to a 911 call early Saturday morning where a 9-year-old girl reportedly told deputies she was awakened just before 6 a.m. by a stranger who was fondling her genitals as she and her siblings slept on a couch in the house.

The girl said the man, who spoke with a heavy Spanish accent and gave her instructions in broken English, motioned for her to follow him into a bedroom where he is believed to have entered the house.

However, the girl reportedly ran screaming into her parents’ bedroom in the opposite direction while the man reportedly left through the bedroom window he had initially used to enter the home.

When the girl’s parents immediately attempted to contact law enforcement, they noticed their cell phones and a computer were missing, the sheriff's office reported.

The girl’s mother reportedly drove to a nearby convenience store where she called 911.

Deputies traced a set of footprints outside the house to a neighbor’s home, where the suspect, 35-year-old Israel Andrade, had reportedly been visiting the prior evening.

Investigators located Andrade asleep in a relative’s home on on Alta Vista Street, about a mile away, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies found Andrade sleeping atop one of the family's stolen cell phones when they woke him, the sheriff’s office reported.

At the relative’s home, investigators who executed a search warrant reportedly found a pair of tennis shoes matching the tread of the footprints outside the girl’s home and two pairs of child's panties wrapped inside a pair of Andrade’s jeans.
