Police seek truck reported stolen from dealership

Mineral Wells police are investigating the reported theft of a 2012 Dodge Durango from the lot of a local dealership.

The truck, valued at more than $31,000, was reported missing from June 7, said police spokesman Lt. Randy Wright. Employees were interviewed but no one knew of the vehicle’s whereabouts.

Police ran the vehicle through the Texas Crime Information Center database and the National Crime Information Center database to see if it could be found, Wright said.

The Springtown Police Department alerted Mineral Wells police to a possible suspect in the case, he said.

Police are still investigating. The vehicle has not been recovered, Wright said.
