Project 365’s Mission Mineral Wells gearing up

By TYLER MASK

This year’s Project 365 boundaries are set, and Mission Mineral Wells is gearing up to take action. In a nutshell, Project 365 is a local initiative that sections off a portion of Mineral Wells as a focal point for various restoration projects. From prayer, to cleaning up homes and yards, the types of projects that go on in the Project 365 Zone are numerous.

MMW will be “in the zone” for four consecutive Saturdays starting March 29, and ending April 19, with an Easter celebration.

The following is a complete breakdown of MMW’s activities:

• Week one, March 29, prayer walk through zone.

• Week two, April 5, passing out gifts to every home in the zone.

• Week three, April 12, service project.

• Week four, April 19, Easter celebration.

To find out more about the service project and Easter celebration, stop by the Chamber of Commerce on March 4, at 6:30 p.m. and join in on the planning.

The community, including all churches, is invited to participate.

“Its a stunning display of unity among the churches,” Brandon Jordan of MMW said.

“Right now there are six churches that have committed to serving with us this year,” Rose Jordan of MMW said. “But we expect to hear from several more in the next week or so.”

This year, MMW will have custom T-shirts available to order. Smalls to 1X are $10, and 2XL and up are $15.

To join MMW or order T-shirts, contact MMW on Facebook at Mission Mineral Wells or find them on the web at www.pulse-ministries.org.

To get directly in touch, call Rose Jordan at 682-225-3315 or email her at rose.praymineralwells@gmail.com.
