Established last year, the Call to Action Rally will take place again tonight, 6-8 p.m., at Mineral Wells High School. The public is encouraged to attend.
Sponsored by the Palo Pinto County Drug Endangered Children’s Coalition and presented by F&M Wilson Enterprises, the event will provide information and entertainment aimed at protecting children.
Experts will be on hand to provide data concerning child abuse and drug use within homes containing children. Additionally, a drug dog demonstration will provide a closer look at law enforcement techniques and strategy.
The DEC will present community projects completed last year and local youth from Dancin’ Etc., the Mineral Wells Junior High choir, and Travis Elementary Cadets will be providing entertainment.
The rally will focus on equipping citizens to assist in the ongoing effort to protect children from exposure to drug environments
