Police report an elderly woman was found in Abilene a day after she was reported missing from her Mineral Wells home by her daughter.
The 81-year-old drove away in her 1998 Mercury Sable and was reported missing at 9:49 p.m. on July 12.
Mineral Wells Police Department used the Texas Crime Information Center and National Crime Information Center to find her. The resident was found not long after midnight on the morning of July 13, according to a police spokesperson. Police reported she was fine, but a little disoriented.
On Friday, police rolled on a domestic disturbance that resulted in a man falling victim to a head-butt square in his nose by his female roommate, according to police. A MWPD spokesperson said the resulting offense was assault causing bodily injury.
