A woman was transported to Palo Pinto General Hospital after she was hit by a vehicle as she attempted to cross a road Saturday.
The incident happened about 2:24 p.m., according to police reports, when Angela Blankinship, 40, of Haslet, walked south, crossing West Hubbard Street near its intersection with Oak Avenue.
Investigators determined Lahela Pualani Robinson, 21, of Mineral Wells, was driving her 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound in the 100 block of South Oak Avenue and navigated a left turn onto West Hubbard while the traffic signal was green.
As Robinson made the turn, reports indicate Blankinship was already in the center lane of the roadway.
The vehicle struck Blankinship and its front right tire ran over her foot. She was taken to PPGH by ambulance for treatment.
No pending charges against either party were included in the investigator's report.
