The Mineral Wells home of Doug and Debbie Pennington served as the campus Saturday night for the 2012 Brazos Foundation Jubilee.
A drop in temperature Saturday caused many party-goers to bundle up or huddle up together next to one of the many temporary and permanent heat sources.
“It was a lovely evening despite the colder temperatures,” noted Jubilee Chair Christy McKamey. “I was honored to chair the Jubilee this year. It was a wonderful experience and knowing the event helps our community makes it even more worthwhile.”
“I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening but with good friends, good food and good music, all while supporting and encouraging community improvement and growth.”
Without the final figures in, McKamey said this year’s Jubilee raised an estimated $40,000.
