Halloween going to the Dawgs at Clark Gardens Botanical Park

Need a safe place to celebrate Halloween tonight, then bring the kids and pooch, to Clark Gardens Botanical Park BOOtanical.

For an inexpensive, non-spooky, family-friendly and activity-filled way to celebrate this version of Howl-o-ween, the gardens will be “Gone to the Dawgs,” 5-7 p.m. tonight. The event also serves as the gardens’ area-wide food drive, to help raise money and food for the Center of Life in Mineral Wells, the Center of Hope in Weatherford and local animal shelters and rescue organizations.

Activities designed for children 12 and under include Trick or Treating, a dog costume contest as well as costume contests for kids and adults, a parade of children’s costumes, Halloween arts and crafts, ghostly movies and games.
