Halloween is behind us and it's time, once again, to start gearing up for Christmas and the Zonta Club of Mineral Wells' 28th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes.
This year's tour will be Sunday, Dec. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. and include only the finest and most historic locations Mineral Wells has to offer, dressed up in their Christmas best. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce or any Zonta Club member location for $20 or $25 on the day of the tour.
"When you see a cool house... you wonder what it looks like [inside]," tour committee member Rebecca Patterson said. "Well, here's your chance to come and see."
Proceeds from the tour will help support the Zonta Club's many endeavors and service projects including Meals on Wheels, Koats for Kids, Z Club, scholarships, Girl’s State, Look Good Feel Better and Woman’s Club.
Headlining this year's tour is the newly renovated Crazy Water Bath House facility at 609 NW 1st Ave. The soon-to-be-operational bath house will be feature authentic light fixtures and furniture to resemble and early 1900's era spa.
The following homes will also be on the tour:
• Gary and Diana Higginbotham at 5 Windmill Road.
• Gary and Nickie Mahan at 295 Lone Oak.
• Jerry and Linda Kelley at 512 NE 7th St.
• Silk Stocking Row Bed and Breakfast at 415 NW 4th St.
