Movies in the Park returns to Mineral Wells

Leaning Tree Church is sponsoring a free event at West City Park Saturday, culminating with the screening of “Horton Hears A Who.”

The activity is open to all ages and is funded in large part by donations from local residents and businesses.

“This Saturday it’s starting at 7 [p.m.],” said organizer Kasha Kinman.

“We’re going to have food and some activities.”

She explained the movie will begin at around 8:45 p.m.

Locals will have an opportunity next weekend to take part in another Movie in the Park event.

For more information about the program, or to make a donation, contact Kinman at (817) 304-1246.
