Six MWHS baseball players on Coaches’ All-District Team

Six Mineral Wells High School Rams are members of the 2008 District 8-4A Baseball Coaches’ All-District Team.

Mineral Wells infielder Junior Barham was a first-team all-district selection at Utility Player.

Rams third baseman Tucker Howard was a second-team all-district pick, according to Mineral Wells head baseball coach Brett Barrick.

Mineral Wells second baseman Neal Parish, catcher Colby Radford, outfielder Kyle Kelley and pitcher Ronnie Pawley were each honorable-mention picks.

The district champion Joshua Owls dominated the all-district team.

Joshua’s Austyn Ross is the district’s Most Valuable Player while Joshua’s Austin Neal is the District 8-4A Pitcher of the Year.

Offensive Player of the Year honors went to Joshua’s Jordan Allen while Joshua’s Jason Bourgeois is the district’s Coach of the Year.

Cleburne’s Ty Taylor is the 8-4A Sophomore of the Year while Crowley’s Shawn Green is the district’s Newcomer of the Year.
