Tison rolls to 28-6 win over MWJHS eighth grade

The Mineral Wells Junior High School eighth grade C team suffered a tough setback Tuesday, falling to Weatherford Tison by a 28-6 margin.

With the loss, Mineral Wells slipped to 2-2 for the season.

The news wasn’t all bad for Mineral Wells, however. The Rams picked up solid performances from several players, including Rylie Hill and Dan Raey Turk. Hill, who had 70 receiving yards in the game, highlighted the MWJHS scoring effort by hauling in a 15-yard touchdown pass from Turk.

The Rams are scheduled to return to action on Oct. 14 against Weatherford Hall. The game will start at 5 p.m. at Ram Stadium.
