Kasha Byrd, center, and Josh Banks, right, were crowned Millsap High School’s 2009 Homecoming Queen and King during halftime of last Friday’s game. Kasha was escorted by her grandfather, Oscar Byrd, left. She is the daughter of Kathy Byrd and Mark Whetstone and the late Bob Byrd. Josh is the son of Phyllis and Walter Banks. The Bulldogs won their homecoming game against Era, 27-19, the first homecoming game and coronation in the new Bulldog Stadium.
