“Both Riley and Sami have excellent potential,” Eggleston said. “I was really proud of how Sami came in this year as a freshman and adapted to the varsity game.”
Eggleston feels the Lady Rams can use offseason work to refine their games individually, but also as a team.
“The returning players have a full season together, and in the offseason we can make more connections and jell as a team,”she said. “We can work more as a cohesive unit as opposed to trying work on working with each other since they have had a year together.
“I feel we will see a more cohesive unit in the off season in April and May as opposed to August like we had to do this year with 11 seniors gone.
The girls will be intense and that will help them to gain confidence.
“I feel that year of experience together goes a long way, and it can’t be understated enough. In other words, we will have a better head start for the 2014 season.”
