It didn't take long for the Lady Rams to get the ball rolling, as Kylie Williams scored on a header off of a corner kick by Erin McGuire just six minutes into the game. The Lady Rams took a 1-0 lead into hafltime, having not allowed Springtown a single shot on goal throughout the entire first half.
Springtown would make its only two shots at the beginning of the second half – both saved by goalie Brittany Smith – and after that, the floodgates opened.
Williams scored again, out running the defense at the 37:15 mark. Her second goal was followed by a similar one off the foot of Mollie Martinez, who outran the Springtown defense with the help of a long pass from Breanna Hinojos.
Mason Malone would provide the exclamation point, scoring the game's fourth and final goal with just over four minutes left thanks to an assist from Kaleigh Aaron.
In all, the Lady Rams had 33 shots, 26 on goal and 11 corners.
With the dominating effort in the books, both the Rams and Lady Rams will be back in action, Friday, when they take a trip to Azle to face the Hornets.
