Mineral Wells senior catcher Reagan Patterson swatted a home run and a double while driving in three runs to lead the Lady Rams to a 9-2 victory over the Stephenville Honeybees Tuesday night at Kessler Field.
Patterson led an 11-hit Lady Rams’ attack.
Also producing a pair of hits each were senior second baseman Chandler Ortiz, sophomore third baseman Hope Patterson, junior outfielder Makayla Nance and junior Anjelica Trevino.
Sophomore pitcher Allie Stephens earned the win in the circle, allowing two runs n three hits with four walks and four strikeouts in six innings.
Freshman Kelsey Keeton came on in relief in the seven, allowing a walk but also striking out the side.
The Honeybees led 2-1 after 4 1/2 innings before the Lady Rams scored three runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 4-2 lead.
MWHS closed the scoring with five runs in the sixth.
