Mineral Wells sophomores Natalie Ragland and Madie Pappas received top honors on the All-District 6-3A team and head coach Lelsie Holman was named "Coach of the Year" in a vote of league coaches.
Lady Rams made progress throughout ‘13-’14 hoops season
Playing for their third head coach in three years, the Mineral Wells Lady Rams basketball team went through a non-district season learning their new coach and finished District 6-3A play with a 6-4 record, a third-place finish and a playoff appearance.

After coming back from 10 points down to trail by one with seven seconds left to play last night in a boys’ Class 3A, Region I bi-district playoff game here Tuesday, the Mineral Wells Rams, trailing by a point, had the ball after Hirschi Huskies’ guard Cedric Battle missed a crucial free throw.
