Making plans for warm months

Take non-perishable foods to the sponsoring Millsap First Baptist Church on Tuesday mornings, 8:30-10:00 a.m.

Also, please remember there is a need for laundry detergent, toilet tissue, and personal hygiene items.  If everyone pitches in we can fill the need, so please help.

Sad news has reached the community of the passing of Millsap resident Mr. T.M. Sharp at the age of 84 years.

Mr. Sharp passed away in Fort Worth, with his wife, Rose Irene Sharp, preceding him in death.

As his livelihood, he had been an air compression operator in the oilfield.  Mr.  Sharp was an avid softball and baseball fan.

Condolences to sons Tim Sharp, Jerry Sharp, and Bart Sharp, and daughter Sylvia Cross, and other family members.

Joy’s Shear Creations Salon has become the one stop shop for Millsap.

There is a full service salon with a long list of beauty treatments available which are usually only accessible in the larger towns.

Loraine Wilson is the staff Massage Therapist and Jennifer Thurman is the Esthetician. Packages are sold for days of beauty and make over sessions are available.  There is a great boutique and some of the items were so popular that they were sell outs for Christmas.  This cleared the way for the new spring merchandise that will be arriving.

Located at 107 Fairview Road, owner and stylist Joy Alexander welcomes everyone to come in and enjoy a great experience.  For info or an appointment call (940) 682-4260.

As the are always parties and family reunions coming round, some folks are going to need a great location for these gatherings.  Millsap Community Center is just such a place.  The building and grounds are in excellent condition, and a large new parking lot was added in recent months. The number to call for rental is (940)682-2071.

Reminder: The Spring Semester for MIllsap ISD begins January 6.
