Summer stock: 33 Millsap students take part in livestock show

MILLSAP – While the summer months may slow down happenings in Millsap schools, many students work hard on projects and extracurricular activities year round.

Among such activities was the recent Parker County Livestock Show. There was great participation from Millsap with 33 students entered in the exposition. The big winner from here was Tygen Kukuk in the Beef Division. He received awards for both the Champion Angus Heifer and Champion European Heifer. He also won the Overall Champion Heifer and and Third Place Angus Steer awards. Tiffany Brown received the prize for Swine Reserve Champion Mkt York. There was a multitude of awards to other of the Millsap students, and their sponsors and the community are “proud of the students and their hard work and accomplishments.”
