MILLSAP – Many around here are still basking in all of the fun and excitement that the Log Cabin Days Festival brought. Both days of the event were a panoramic view of the history of the area as well as an overview of many of the old time ways of life.
The first day was dedicated to teaching the Millsap fourth-grade students history in a myriad of ways. As this is the first year that the subject of history is presented to the students, they were taken to the log cabin grounds for a day of hands on study. With the help of many dedicated adult volunteers, and the Junior Beta Club, tours of the cabins were given.
