MILLSAP – With summer weather fully here and kids out of school parents and grandparents will be looking for ways to keep the young ones entertained and busy. In our area there are going to be some wonderfully constructive ways to accomplish this. A number of camps will be available to youngsters.
For Millsap Afterschool Program students the month of June will be packed with four different camps. There will be Survival Camp June 4-7 courtesy of the Agri Extension Program which will teach the kids many camping skills. June 11-14 will be Cheer Camp with school cheerleaders helping qualified teachers present this format to interested students. Fitness Camp, under the direction of Tate’s Total Fitness, will bring information to the students on how to attain some good health habits June 18-21. The final camp will be Drama Camp, June 25-29, and the participants will work toward presenting a performance of “High School Musical.” For info call the MAP office at (940) 682-3130.
