As each day grows hotter, we know that peach season and all that goes with it around here is in full swing. According to agriculture experts peach crops are in good condition and the harvest has begun.
This leads to the biggest county event of the year, the Parker County Peach Festival, with many from our area involved in this festivity. It will be taking place on July 14, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in downtown Weatherford. Admission is $5 for adults, with kids 12 and under free. With an attendance of 30,000 last year, the city provides many parking locations with shuttles are available. Everything will be about peaches, so take your appetite and have a good time!
