The Millsap VFD First Responders Program, which is designed to augment professional emergency personnel in response to crises situations is off to a strong start with volunteers readying for a class which will qualify them for this. Program volunteers include Lainea Ashley, Kari Voss, Erika Gonzalez, and Sharon Walters. In another area of being prepared to respond in an emergency situation the department is offering free American Heart Association CPR classes to anyone interested. A class can be designed around almost anyone’s schedule, so if interested email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Mark Anderson at (940) 452-2467. The department’s regular meetings are at the fire station on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
With many people looking for jobs here’s a couple if you qualify: nail tech and stylist are needed at Joy’s Shear Creations at 107 Fairview Road, Millsap, or call (817) 304-3561 or (940) 682-4260. Hope this helps someone find that right job.
A special invitation is extended by the Millsap Methodist Church to join them in a Candlelight Service on December 24. Pastor Jim Sanders will bring the message beginning at 6 p.m.
May you have a very blessed Christmas as we rejoice: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).
