Lloyd Dean Allen, 85, of El Paso passed away Jan. 19 after a brief illness. Lloyd was born in Brazos, the son of H.E. Allen and Vivian (Bradford) Allen. Lloyd served in both World War II and the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Navy.
He was a talented man with his mind and hands; working for Lockheed Martin, Cox Municipal Airport and ROHR Aircraft in Chula Vista, CA, as an aircraft mechanic.
Lloyd never met a stranger. He loved life and people, and always had a “story” for everyone he met.
He is survived by sister: Virginia Behrens Bradford of Brazos; two nephews: Carl Grady Behrens and wife Linda of Brazos, Joey Allen of Houston; niece: Becky Allen of Houston and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 25, from 6-8 p.m.; graveside service is Saturday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at Dobbs Valley Cemetery.
