Daren was born in Mineral Wells, the son of J.T and Neva (Duncan) Maxwell. At one season of the year Darren’s vocabulary was limited to a few words: “Hook ‘em Horns.” He was a loyal Texas Longhorns fan. This loyalty was shown in his attire and vehicle. He made every effort to watch a game if it was on TV. Another pastime Daren enjoyed was to sit down to watch his favorite TV show with his mother. Daren enjoyed his quiet time reading the Bible. He was taught Christianity at a young age and it held strong in his heart. He loved the Lord.
Daren is survived by parents, J.T and Neva Maxwell; children, Zayley, Josie, Rowdee, Cooper and Canyon Maxwell; step-daughter, Chrisha Patton; fiancé, Susan Clark; brothers, Clifton Maxwell and wife, Nancy, and Kevin Maxwell and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Ashton and Raelynn; aunt, Maxine Horian; numerous nieces, Misti Maxwell, Nicole Oldham, Mandy Mansell and Whitney Elias; nephews, Johnathon, Stephen and Joshua Wheaton; and friends and special prayer warrior, Glenda Turner.
Daren was preceded in death by a brother, Delton Maxwell; grandparents, Henry Maxwell and wife, Lorene, and Clifford Duncan and wife, Marie; and nephew, Cody Maxwell.
