DECORDOVA -- Jean A. McKelvy, 79, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 in Fort Worth. Service: 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation: 5 -7 p.m. Sunday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Memorials: First Christian Church in Granbury. Jean was born Dec. 5, 1934 in Cleburne to Pete Carl and Sarah Alice Baker Albright. She married Thomas O. McKelvy on Sept. 3, 1954 in Kermit. She was the owner of the Hallmark Card Shop in Mineral Wells and a volunteer at Lake Granbury Medical Center. She was a member of the Senior Circle and the First Christian Church where she sang in the choir. Jean was an avid golfer, loved to play bridge and loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband on May 1, 2007.
Survivors: Daughters, Tammy and husband, Bill Daniel of Alpharetta, Ga. and Sherry and husband, Tom Uribe of Hurst; son, Thomas C. McKelvy of Granbury; grandchildren, Krista, Trisha, Trevor, Corey, Kaylee and Lexie.
