Roger Cary Tincher, 79, passed away April 25, 2014, at Palo Pinto General Hospital.
Service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Indian Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Dover, Tenn., the son of Earnest and Ardell Nash Tincher. He married Dorothy Howeth on June 20, 1951, in Weatherford. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and attended Indian Creek Baptist Church. He worked at Cantex for 29 years. He owned and operated Tincher’s Remodeling for many years until retiring in 1999. He loved to hunt, fish, and having a garden. He loved the Texas Rangers and watching his kids and grandkids play ball.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Tincher; children and spouses, Larry and Linda Tincher, Linda Myers, Debbie and Bob Jones and Mike and Julie Tincher; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Millie and Loyd Leppo; and brother, Harold Tincher.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
