In loving memory of Bobbie Luellen who left this earth to be with Jesus on Dec. 28, 2012, and was born on Feb. 28, 1945.
She will be greatly missed by many.
Bobbie was born to Robert and Mary Wright in New Orleans, La., and moved to Mineral Wells in 1983.
She worked at Lakewell House Assisted Living as the Chief Administrator where she retired. Bobbie loved her community and was involved in Zonta, Agape Ministries, Meals on Wheels, and the Mineral Wells Merchants Association.
Bobbie had a strong love for her family and she leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Tom Luellen; three sons: Rob Moon and wife Debby, Marc Moon and wife Mistie, and Jason Luellen and wife Jamie; one daughter: Ginger Luellen. She had nine beautiful grandchildren: Ashlee Hopkins, Cheyanne Moon, Gatlin Simmons, Victoria Perron, Cynthia Gonzalez, Lisa Taylor, Tim Moon, James Wyatt Luellen, and Julia Luellen. And four great grandchildren: Braxton Harris, Bethany Walker, Cara Gonzalez and Austin Perron. She had four wonderful sisters: Emily Bailey, Mary Del Wright, Maria McGoldrick, and Susan Barker. Many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Lee Moon, and both parents.
The memorial service was held at First Baptist Church on Thursday Jan. 3, 2013, at 12 noon. There was also a visitation on Wednesday Jan. 2, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Baum Carlock Bumgardner.
Jeremiah 31:13 –
I will turn their mourning into gladness. I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.
