Alton Harold Alexander, 61, passed away July 20, 2013, doing what he loved – riding Swigs.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, July 26, at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 3 p.m. Friday, at Eden Cemetery in Eden, Texas. Visitation is scheduled Thursday evening, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Alton was born Feb. 4, 1952, in Odessa, the son of Leslie and Willie Smith Alexander. His father preceded him in death. Alton was a true cowboy and lived the cowboy way. He trained horses, enjoyed going on trail rides and spending time with family and friends.
Alton loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Alton is survived by his daughters, Leslie Reneé and Zaki Natasha and their mother, Debby Wood; daughters Jessi Clay, Se-ara Dawn and Mesa-Rey, their mother, and his wife, Julie Alexander; grandchildren, Savannah Grace and Mazzie Rain; mother, Willie Alexander; sister, Jan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and his dog, Boots.
