JoAnne Boudreau, 77, died Thursday, May 22, 2014.
A private family memorial service has been planned.
JoAnne was born July 7, 1936, in Muscatine, Iowa, to Arthur Peter Wells and Mona Beatrice Carpenter Wells. She married Thomas Lawrence Boudreau on Feb. 22, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1988. Tom and JoAnne moved to Mineral Wells from Bellflower, Calif., in 1969, where Tom managed Privet Plastics. JoAnne was an active leader for many youth groups including the Mineral Wells 4H Club. She was also a certified herbalist, who owned and managed Boudreau Herb Farms the past 25 years. She had her own radio show and wrote many articles for newspapers and magazines about the many health benefits of herbs. She helped and touched the lives of many, many people through her work.
Survivors include sisters, Lois Wells, of Idaho, and Anna Wells, of Oregon; brother, Donnie Wells, of Oregon; son, Tommy Boudreau and wife, Kari, of Mineral Wells; granddaughters, Anna Belew and husband, Mickey, of Dublin; grandsons, TJ Boudreau and wife, Lylan, of Whitt, and Bob Boudreau, of Mineral Wells; and great-grandchildren, Cade, Kenzie, Jodi and Ryan.
