Nona Camillia Ellis, 79, passed away Oct. 6, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital.
She was born Nov. 17, 1933 in Santa Anna, Texas, the daughter of Virgil and Ruby Homsley Fulton. She married Samuel Ellis in April of 1954, in Fort Worth.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and was loved by many. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of First Christian Church. She worked as an insurance supervisor at Palo Pinto General Hospital for 25 years.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at First Christian Church, with Pam Holt and Blake Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
She is survived by: her children and their spouses, Sue and Buba Patterson of Mineral Wells, Ronny Ellis of Fort Worth, Rick and Edith Ellis of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Steve Ellis, Blake and Duell Patterson, Kelsey Simcox; one great-grandchild on the way; brother, David Fulton of Santa Anna; brother-in-law, Paul Ellis and wife, Pat, of Florida; and sister-in-law, Margaret Roberts, of Florida.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, in 1995; son, Randy Ellis; brother, Bruce Fulton; and sister, Vicki Simmons.
