Kirby McDonald, 58, of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away on May 1, 2013.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 11, 2013, at the Lone Camp Volunteer Fire Department’s station.
Kirby was born in Mineral Wells on April 24, 1955. After a six-year enlistment in the Army, he took up residence in Texas.
Kirby was married to Lea Anna McDonald on Aug. 9, 1997; they were married 15 years.
Kirby worked as the Chief Engineer on JL Tower for JL Properties. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball and riding snow machines and ATVs with his family and friends.
Kirby is survived by his wife, Lea Anna McDonald; father, Clarence McDonald; step-mother, Lois McDonald; sister, Melaine Sims; brothers, Trace and Keith McDonald; step-sister, Sondra Bost; sons, Sean and Tim McDonald; sons, Bobby and Shawn Soule; daughter, Janai Craft; multiple nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family.
Kirby is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lopez.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at Titan Bank in Mineral Wells. The McDonald family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, donations, help and love.
