Darlene Radford, age 66, passed away Oct. 15, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital. There will be a family gathering on Saturday, Oct. 19, 3 p.m., at 911 Young Road, in Millsap. We encourage all family and friends to attend this celebration of Darlene’s life – just follow the pink ribbons.
Joyce Darlene Smith was born on July 7, 1947, to John David Smith and Artie Virginia Sumners in Dallas, Texas. Darlene married Kenneth Radford on Dec. 23, 1963. She was a beloved wife, mother, Meme and friend.
Darlene is preceded in death by: her parents, Garland Draper and Artie Sumners; husband, Kenneth Radford; daughter, Susan Radford-Saint; and son, Alton “Dinky” Draper.
Survivors include: daughter, Darla, and Marvin Faulkner of Mineral Wells,;son, Kenneth Radford, and Natalie Burnard of Perrin; foster children, Lee and Donna Draper of Fort Worth, Johnny Edwards Burns of Florida and Denise Franklin of Oklahoma; brothers, David Draper of Crossroads, Alton Draper of California, and Jerry Wayne Draper of Florida; sister, Barbara Webster of Weatherford; grandchildren, Deanna and Monty Edmunds of Millsap, Jessica and Kevin Hobbs of Mineral Wells, Michael and Davina Faulkner of South Carolina, Joshua Radford of Mineral Wells, John Radford, Kendra Radford, Brandon Radford and Kayla Radford of Mineral Wells; great-grandchildren, Koby and Cera Williams, Jaydin Kaydin and Braylee Hobbs, Anthony and Cailey Faulkner, Jase and Jena Radford, Dawson, Destiny and Derek Radford and Illiana and Brittany Draper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
